Papež a válka
Jinak obecně. Myslím, že kromě Ruské federace a Putina je zatím
největším poraženým z Ukrajinské války Církev. My všichni
křesťané jsme velvyslanci Boží a nositelé imago Dei a nejlepším
obrazem Božím, který nevěřící kolem nás mohou spatřit, my všichni
se modlíme „posvěť se Jméno Tvé“ (snažím se tady zreprodukovat
křesťanskou variantu židovského pojmu Chillul Hashem). A během
této války vidí opravdu hrozné věci. O patriarchu Kirillovi
a moskevské pravoslavné církvi snad ani není třeba hovořit, ale
tato katastrofa se bohužel neomezuje zdaleka jenom na ně. Tenhle
zmatený příspěvek na blogu arcibiskupa Duky (je možné, že by
arcibiskup napsal blog post pod vlivem?) a Hnutí pro život, které
bohužel mnozí považují za projev autentického křesťanství, je
snad jenom drobnost, která zapadne.
Ale mnohem horší je podle mého to, co předvádí papež František
(kterého jinak mám docela rád). Místo toho aby se jasně postavil
na stranu Ukrajiny (a pět a půl miliónu svých řeckokatolických
věřících) tak neustále lavíruje, do Kyjeva se nevypraví
a odůvodňuje to tím, že když válku nevyřeší, tak to nemá cenu (že
by otec měl stát blízko svým dětem v nouzi mu asi nikdo neřekl),
hořekuje nad tím že válka je špatně (možná by si možná měl
přečíst něco od katolických klasiků o spravedlivé válce), ale
jasného a dramatického vyjádření se jsme se nedočkali (a že jich
právě on je schopen: asi málokdo zapomene na tento obrázek papeže
modlícího se v dešti za nemocné Covidem). Doufá snad, že ho bude
Putin brát jako nestranného a umožní mu být prostředníkem
vyjednávání a kvůli tomu obětuje svoji věrohodnost? Takové
kravině snad nemůže věřit nikdo soudný. Kvůli mlčení papeže (byť
možná složitě komplikovaně ospravedlnitelnému) máme Hitlerova
papeže a teď zjevně budeme mít Putinova papeže.
